Pixel-h

Pixel-H is a high performance 75mm pitch LED display element that can be connected to form completely flexible display shapes - a square metre weighs less than 5kg and measures only 24mm in thickness.

Unlike combined color LED (SMD) displays, Pixel-H uses individually lensed red, green and blue LEDs, allowing higher brightness to be steered to the viewing space. Pixel-H is also fully waterproof for permanent outdoor use and is ruggedized for frequent re-configuration and rigging in event applications.

Several different structural systems, from fabric panels to aluminium profile, enable Pixel-H to operate economically in one-day events or permanent facade installations - and everything in between. Some of these deployment systems are designed for very fast rigging, enabling large displays to be built with unprecedented speed.

Pixel-H’s combined power and data interconnect system also contributes to ease of installation, and by allowing power and processing equipment to be remote from the display surface, applications such as building wraps can be achieved cost-effectively for the first time. Standard fabric Patches of Pixel-H - approximately one square metre in area and comprising 16 x 10 pixels - are fed with a single cable that can be up to 200m long.

With a number of different processing options from direct DVI input with ElementLab’s ELP, to complete internet-accessible media management using BLIP’s Display Manager, Pixel-H can be up and running high quality moving imagery or text messaging systems within hours.

Optional remote diagnostics packages can provide detailed event-driven monitoring of fixed installations, and various interfaces for real-time interactive content control such as DMX and the LONWORKS building management standard, allow Pixel-H to form a complete display systems solution.
